Haltom Orthodontics is led by father and son orthodontists, Drs. Tucker and Darren Haltom. Together, they bring decades of experience and a contagious passion for orthodontics and for providing great results to every patient we treat. That passion is a hallmark of our entire team and something even our patients share. In fact, patients of our orthodontic offic say that they feel like a part of our family and we measure our success not only by the smiles we create but the amazing relationships we develop along the way.

DR. TUCKER HALTOM

Dr. Tucker has been in practice for over 50 years in Albuquerque. Orthodontists from all over the United States know him as a "great finisher", which means he's known for the amazing smiles he is able to create. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontists and serves this organization as an examiner. He is also an Emirates member of the prestigious Super Schulman Group which is comprised of the top 1% of orthodontics in all of North America and is the only orthodontist in New Mexico to be given membership into this exclusive group. Dr. Tucker is a past president of the RMSO and the National Angle Society, and served on the Board of the American College of Orthodontics.

DR. DARREN HALTOM

Dr. Darren has been creating amazing smiles in our practice since 2009. He has been responsible for leading our team in new technologies designed to make treatment faster, more esthetic and more comfortable. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontists, President of the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists and member of the Super Schulman Group along with Dr. Tucker. Dr. Darren is known for his ability to really understand patients' needs and has advanced training in treating people with jaw joint issues. Both Dr. Darren and his wife, Kimberly, are proud to be Lobos and love working together in leading Haltom Orthodontics.

DR. KAITLYN DARCY, DDS, MS

Dr. Darcy was born and raised in Holland, Michigan, and has been practicing in NM for 4.5 years. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontists. She played soccer at Marquette and received her undergraduate in biomedical engineering. After completing her dental degree she completed her orthodontic residency in Portland. We are so excited to bring her knowledge and experience to Haltom Orthodontics. In her free time, Dr. Darcy enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

DR. LISA KING, DDS, MS

Dr. King has been creating simply sensational smiles for nearly 30 years. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontists and a member of the AAO. Dr. King enjoys making a difference in patients’ lives, and watching their confidence grow as they progress through treatment. She is an avid cyclist and has completed century rides. We are honored to welcome her to our Haltom family.
